Pupils became interested in reflecting on their identity in comparison with other cultures

Having looked initially at images from Papua New Guinea and made wire masks with artist Virginia Storey, the pupils became interested in reflecting on their identity in comparison with other cultures.

They came to the Sainsbury Centre to visit the exhibition China, China, China and had a workshop with Craig Kao. Posing as ambassadors from Beccles, they focussed on the way in which an artist uses the local environment to work from.
