Leiston Primary School

The primary school at Leiston is based in the town but only a stone's throw from the beach and local nuclear energy facility.  The children worked with the Sainsbury Centre team over two consecutive days, starting with stimulus from the museum's artefacts which then developed into observation of natural pattern in the school grounds.  The culmination was the production of multiple coloured and patterned transparent discs, which transformed the schools entrance area and created a conversation about how and why they were generated.
