Breckland

At the threshold of this huge forested area, artefacts from rainforests of Pacific Islands and the wooded hills of ancient central America had a particular resonance, inspiring children’s heightened impressions of the forest and a greater appreciation of their local ways of life. Teachers from all the schools worked together with artists Marcela Trsova, Jackie Jones, Georgina Warne and Julia Parry Jones to deepen their engagement, swapping stories, myths and legends, taking meandering walks, molly dancing and appreciating the spirituality associated with their environment.
